Mr Ibrahim Al Khuwaitem, founder and CEO of company started business with the Gypsum Board and other building finishing material in 2004 and within a period of 5 years after getting positive response from the market opened their showrooms and warehouses in a region of Jeddah, Makkah, Madina, Khobar and strongly built the trust to all his customers.

THE COMPANY WAS FOUNDED

SMR, Ibrahim Mohammad Al Khuwaitem Trading Est. was founded in 2004 and started its business from the western region of Saudi Arabia

THE STAFF GREW TO 50 EMPLOYEES

With in a period of 5 years, the company has started hiring the new staff for their new branches and step up completely in the field of architecural and building finishing material.

FIRST RECOGNITION

In 2012, the company has officially took the legal name SMR and known as a supplier of finishing material specially in western region of KSA.

BECOMES A LEADING IN INDUSTRY

In 2016, SMR becomes a leader in the industry of construction field by supplying 90% of the building finishing products to maximum of construction companies specially in the region of Jeddah and Khobar with the growth in profit margin.

WE WORK ALL OVER THE KINGDOM

SMR, Ibrahim Mohammad Al Khuwaitem Trading Est. was completely captured all the space in Saudi Arabia specially new develop cities like NEOM, UMLUJ, SHARMA and now SMR is well known brand by almost all of the contracting, consulting and designing firms in terms of their priority to use our material in their projects.
